has anyone that has an aero rig tried to pull the boom to windward so that the angle between the boats center line and the apparent wind is lessoned from about 25 degrees to about 15 degrees? This if it is possible would enable a boat to sail a lot closer to the wind. Of course the apparent wind in degrees to the boom would have to remain the same.
