I am considering purchasing a 40 -45 Sailboat. I will be living on it for the weekends. I would also like to race it in the cruiser class. Any thoughts and advice would be aprreciated. Thanks in advance

We lived on our Morgan 41 Classic CC (Catalina version) for 8 years. Lots of room. Not the fastest racer, but no slouch either.

My wife, son and I live on a Morgan 43 center cockpit. We have lived on board for 1yr with no problems. We Love it!!! The only problem that we have is clothes. My wife loves clothes. She has to dress in suits for work. We wanted to give living abourd 2 years. I am so lucky that I have a wife that loves living on a boat more than me. We have raced our boat in friendly marina regata and won. We did have a size advantage.
