Hi, O'day 25 novice here... looking to purchase a roller furling for my boat... never used one, not even sure how they work. Any advice on a particular (inexpensive, yet reliable) model. Not into racing, not going to go into 'heavy seas' (upstate NY, Finger Lakes) - just an easy cruiser kind of guy. Oh, and are they difficult to install?? Before or after stepping the mast?

Hi I have a Hood Sea flex that was very inexpensive but you also have CDI FF4 for a a little more. From there the price goes up. I got mine from Porpoise Sailing and they are very pleasant to deal with.
