I found a leak at the connection of my 1988 Hunter 355 Legend exhaust hose and thru-hull fitting. Water spits into the dead space and accumulates there, before partially draining into my bilge. So, I need to replace the exhaust hose or a section of the exhaust hose. Does anyone know the typical length of exhaust hose used from the engine to the thru-hull fitting; the inside exhaust hose diameter and the outside exhaust hose diameter?

I just replaced mine on my 1999 hunter 310. I ordered it from here, at a length of four feet. Had about 10" left over. It was for a 2gm20FV Yanmar.

This is one of those cases where you definitely want to measure AT LEAST twice and cut once. You'd hate to come up a foot short on on the piece you order. Also, are you replacing from the muffler to the thru hull or the entire length from the engine. The outlet from the mixing elbow will be 2" dia. but after that, you don't want to go with someone else's measurements.
Order the hose by the inside diameter.
