Advice on buying C & C 25

Hello all - First time here, so don't know if this is the place for this or not, but I am thinking of buying a C & C 25 (1982) and wonder if anyone has any opinions/advice. Would be using it in a large lake in NC, has inboard gas engine, tiller steering. I have some sailing experience, but this would be the first boat I own. Any help, comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is the engine...

A Vire 7 two-stroke? I know quite a bit about the Vire and my previous boat was a 1976 C
