Closed-foam cockpit cushions
I have them on my C320 and they are great. We use throwable "seat cushion" type PFDs for the back-rest cushions; they can serve double-duty as extra safety gear.A nice fold-down cockpit table is a real plus. Also, a leather cover on your wheel beats gripping cold steel.Certainly a good VHF Radio & the basic wind, depth, and speed instruments. A GPS & chartplotter (at the helm) is a real help. An autopilot is nice if you travel any distance (might not be an issue on a Lake!). I also added the Raymarine Multi-function display down below at the Nav Station. Allows me to eyeball the heading, depth, wind, Lat/Long, etc. while we're underway.I found the "Safety Package" offered by Catalina not to my liking. You can get better stuff at a better price buying separately.Consider adding some engine compartment soundproofing material. Catalina, for some strange reason, just doesn't put any in.Congratulations on your new boat!--RonD
