Advice on 96 Beneteau Oceanis 400 survey

I'm about to make an offer on a 96 Oceanis 400. I'm planning on getting surveys done, but are there any issues particular to this year and model that I might want to pay special attention to? I'm brand new to sailing so please consider this when replying. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I suggest getting a "base" price subject to a survey and what cost may be involved. Then you can haggle a new logical price accordingly.
