Hi Bill, Not being a racer, I've always been curious about the advantages of various sail materials. Like Kevlar, for instance. It sure costs enough -- why is it worth that kind of money? Is it that much better than Dacron? Are there any high tech materials that might eventually become a good choice for cruising sailors?
