Adjustment of propeller pitch (MD6a COMBI)

The combi on my boat is set to the lever being at about 3 o'clock
when the wheel is in neutral. This is wrong. If the combi is set up
according to the instructions the lever will be at 12 noon and the
wheel at Neutral. I have been using mine as is but it is wrong but
works ok. If everything is set according to the instructions and
the lever is at 3 o'clock I would assume someone has taken the lever
off and repositioned it. As best I can remember the lever on the
combi at the back of the engine should also be in the vertical
position. The blades on the propeller hub only have on proper
position they can go in. IF you change them other than the way the
manual says they should be set they will be wrong and will not work
properly. I have a set of instuctions on the boat for setting up the
combi but that is 200 miles away. I think the instructions are
online at the Vega site or somebody in the goup should have them to
send you over the net and they may be in the files to this Vega
email site. There is only one correct way to set it up and there are
no ajustments if properly set up it will just work.

I hope I am not wrong here, but as I remeber in neutral the lever is
supposed to be vertical??? I have to make a bronze plate to go on at
the lever control. Disregard my last post as I am just working
from memory and may be wrong.
