My Pearson 31 is fitted with a Raymarine ST4000, when turning to port it would regularly disengage, the engagement lever would pop up. It does not happen on a starboard heading correction. I tried to adjust the belt tension but in the process broke a tiny brass locking collar.
Reading the manual, (should have done it sooner) it tells me to take the unit to a dealer for adjustment as it requires a specialized tool, and probably lots of money, is this true ? or do you have suggestion as how to do it and where can i buy the 10cent locking collar?
