Additional diesel storage for Oc 351

I'm tired of using 4- 5 gal. diesel containers on the deck for my extra fuel. Looks like the best alternative is to add a 20 gal. tank under the v-birth. Short of a custom tank, a bladder tank appears to be the best option. I realize I will have to add a pump to transfer the diesel to the aft tank.

My question is: Has anyone tried this and if so, the pros, cons and what should I avoid.

I would personally be hesitant using a bladder tank for fuel. Even for water or waste, there have been reports of the tanks rubbing and puncturing even if properly installed and secured.

You may not want the extra weight in the bow.

you may want to consider installing one under the transom.. there is a lot of room under there .. and I think you could easily install a fill cap in that small compartment next to the propane tank ..
