The O'Day 28 that I just purchased has a fiberglass cabin sole that is in excellent shape. However, I would like to have change this to a wood sole. Can anyone suggest how best to do this? I recall reading in the archives that the wood sole is simply bonded to the fiberglass. Someone else mentionned he would consider using velcro to hold it to the fiberglass sole. Any comments on the best way to do this? Claude

Wooden Floor

The boats I have seen the floor is cut tight enough so friction holds it in place. Keep in mind that the floor will not be as non skid as the existing floor. You will need to make a pattern to cut the floor. This job will take a good amount of skill to make it look & fit correctly. Good Luck
