My catilina 22 came with a 110 outlet poorly installed that goes to a battery charger. I just got a new shore power outlet, AC panel, and new wire that I'm going to install. It will just power the battery charger and the outlet that is built in the panel.
this is the outlet

and this is the AC panel

I'm thinking the AC panel on the bulkhead just aft of the dinette as it will cover up the back sides of the gauges. I was also thinking of installing on on the board that is behind the keel hand crank (but my C22 does not have that board) anyone have the specs of that board or what it's called? I will have to make one regardless.

I"m guessing a trim plate for the main Shorepower outlet as the PO circled drilled horribly as he filled in the crooked hole with silicon as it was too forward and hit the bulkhead internally. You can see the lines of the cabin bulkhead perfectly inline with the outlet location :cussing:

Wow, that's too bad the PO didn't catch that. I'm thinking you might just want to reposition the outlet anyway, use the piece of glass from the new hole to repair the old hole. One thing I would advise before drilling the hole, think about exiting and entering the boat, the last thing you want is the cord and plug right where people will be stepping when boarding or exiting.

On the panel there is more than enough room to put your panel where your thinking, when I had the last old style I even recessed the panel a full inch, I'm sure I have pictures on my PC I'll fire it up and see.

No luck on the winch cover board though, but if memory serves you'll have to route away some of of the board right around the winch itself. But then there wasn't a lot of consistent work on the C22 so maybe you'll get lucky..:D

Here are a couple pictures of the panel location.

Ericson 29 Southport..
I have the exact measurements in my notes if you need it, but this is a very simple panel to build. This boat did not have one, so I just winged it. I put about three screws at the top side, and a small L-bracket on the bottom, port side to the liner. It was one of the easiest panels to make, and I happen to be a very sorry carpenter..

shore power

Here is a picture of where I put the shore power on the MK it's proven to be out of the way when in use or not. The MK coamings were not high enough to install it anywhere on them.

finally got it installed this weekend.

My boat was missing the board that is behind the keel winch. I made one with the AC panel on it and put a shore power plug on the botched hole that the PO made. turned out well. Works great and this winter I will jazz it up cosmetically.
