Adding Jib Furler to H23

I'm installing a Schaefer CF-500 jib furler this spring and the boat is in storage with the mast down. I want to have the furler above the anchor locker doors when they are open. Can someone who has done this on a H23 let me know what length of tangs I need for the anchor locker.

Measure from the hole in the anchor locker chain plate to an ideal hole attachment of the bottom of the drum above the anchor locker lids allowing for clearance of the bottom of the drum at an angle. Allow three inch clearnence from the locker lid

Dave, my boat is in storage and I don't have access till spring. I'm trying to get a jump start so I don't have to wait until I can measure mine to order the tangs and a new forestay.
