adding a bypass and pex to polybutylene fresh water setup

hey all;

I will be running pex after the water pump to a three way pex tee, then to a pex shut off valve to the hot water intake via a pex to npt female, and not touching the pb outflow from the hot water tank.
from the other side of the tee i'll run pex to a male npt and tie into the pb again..
this'll work right?
then for winterization i just turn the valve off to bypass the tank..?

It appears to work..
One question. Do you need to affix the pex piping to the deck or hull? It looks like the pex piping is floating in the air. Continued movement - flexing - could wear down the pex or the seal at the fittings. Not used pex in a boat.

I know in house plumbing you need to attach the pipes to wall studs or to through wall studs to reduce flexing of the pipe material.

So the above pic is my new hot water tank with manifold. The 3 ball valves are configured for summer use. Turn all three 90 degrees and RV antifreeze will bypass the tank and go straight into the hoses that fee the sinks and shower. Open the drain and relief valve( to break the vacuum) and the tank drains into the bilge.

Nice and clean setup..
I initially thought id get away with one shutoff pre tank but yours is better to winterize post tank piping and bypass tank.. thanks..three shutoffs it is
