Hi All
I would like to add a Bow platform to my 1984 H27, similar to what's pictured. Has anyone done this ? I would prefer to have a one made stainless tubing with wood center fill, but would consider a solid wood platform Anything in particular I should pay attention to ?

Yes.
How you are going to secure the protuberance off the bow to the boat. Note we are not always sailing in calm waters. As the wind picks up and the waves start to form, think about the biggest person you know then double or quadruple that persons strength. He is trying to lift and wave your boat around by that sprit you are building.
How you connect the sprit and engineer the strength into that sprit is critical to the bow staying on the front of your boat.

Consider the backing plates, the fasteners, how all these will influence the way you use the compartments of your bow. Will the structure be sound in all four directions? What will happen to the bow should you contact the dock with the additional protuberance?

It is a slippery slope. Hope you are going to get a benefit out of this modification.

Curious to know why you want a bow sprit on you H27. I'm always looking for improvements in my boat, but never considered that. It would be a way of getting back at the marina for charging me the same as a 30' boat.

I typically carry 2 anchors, 2 anchors in the anchor locker is pretty cramped. And I just like the looks of a anchor platform. Some marinas charge by the foot including bow pulpits and swim platforms. My marina has a flat fee for boats 26 - 30 ft. so adding 18 " is of no concern.

Your right.. there is no room for two anchors. Post some pics when your done with the mod.

Would the lengthen bow affects your berthing charges since LOA will be longer with the extension?

Not with the Marina where I keep the boat, but it probably will if I rent a slip at some other marina. I'm only adding approx 18" including anchor so the additional charges shouldn't be that much of a concern.

When I was looking for a C30 I favored the Tall Rig with Bow Sprit option. I just like the looks of a teak bow sprit. I also looked at a 27' (I think) Island Packet with a bow sprit. I just like the look.

Anyway, I can see the appeal of adding one but I agree the comments by @jssailem.
If you just want to mount an anchor on the bow, what you picture may be overkill.
