Add Spinlock clutch

On my port coach roof there's space on the pad to fit one more clutch next to the 3 Spinlock XAS clutches. Can i buy a single XAS, remove the side plates and fit the clutch against the exiting ones? I'll definitely need to get 3 longer screws to bind all 4 clutches together.
Is this how its done?

I've thought about this but don't think it's possible. Even if you remove the cosmetic side plates, there is a structural end plate on each unit that would be doubled up. In any case there is no real advantage to doing so, and the dumb things fail often enough to have me preferring that they are discreet as possible anyway.

I added one for the vang, but bolted it down through the coach roof.
