Hello, Could someone tell me a good way to run the fuel line into the locker under the cockpit seat? I just bought a '72 and a new motor. Thanks, Tim Pinkham

Deck vents!!!

Tim, I have two deck vents on the port side one for fresh air intake and one for fuel hose and foul air outlet. My engine is on the port side as well. Good Luck.

Fuel Line

Tim, I just purchased a used C22. The previous owner had cut a small notch in the frame below the cockpit seat, large enough to accept the fuel hose, it is then routed in the groove of the seat and frame into the cockpit area and over the stern to the motor. Seems to work okay and allows me to easily and quickly connect/disconnect the fuel tank from the motor. Hope this helps.

fule line route- already solved

on the bottom of the port "locker" , there exists a small cut-out towards the rear which is designed to allow the fule line to run under the "locker" when the seat is closed. That should do it. A deck vent is not necessary on a 22 if the battery and gas tank are not under the same "locker". nor should they ever be. When ya lift up the "locker cover" to install and prime the gas line, and open the gas tank vent, all the fumes- if any will be gone
