I just noticed an access hole in my chain locker. It is on the forward portion of the locker and has a screw cap about 3.5 inches in dia. not much on the inside. Anybody have any ideas?

Jerry It's there for at least two reasons: access to wiring to the bow pulpit for the nav lights access to under the deck to add another cleat (some Catalinas only came with one bow cleat in the middle - we had to add a portside cleat, and the access hole was a great help - some folks have actually installed another one on the starboard side to put yet another cleat on that side) Stu
