Yep, the Bay. Too bad the races are going to be held in Bermuda next time. Even though it didn't turn enough of a profit, it sure was cool to see up close and personal. One day we went to the Alameda movie house (admission - Free) and watched on a digital HD IMAX screen. We felt like we were going to fall into the water. Then we were able to go out on the bay and watch them blast by on our own boat. Finally we saw the last two days of racing at the Sausalito Yacht Club bar. They had a great big TV in front of huge windows. First we would see all the action when they were down by the GG Bridge. When they got up to the city front we could see them directly almost 5 miles away and really appreciate how fast they moved.
They probably saw the killer Chihuahua on board giving them the evil eye and decided to move on.Oh wow, that was super cool. What I would give for a ride on one of those boats.
Has it occurred to you that they came over for a closer look, and then decided they did not want to race your boat?
