AC install on my 1996 Hunter 336

Hi all, has anyone got pictures of a factory install of an air conditioner in a Hunter 336? I think a 16,000 BTU unit will be best and the space directly behind the water tank appears to be the best place. I want to install it like the factory does and would appreciate some help!

Are you absolutely sure 16,000 will be enough BTUs? You and I both know how hot Lake Murray gets. Maybe that’ll be big enough but I’m feeling skeptical. But I have no answer about installation. @Crazy Dave Condon may be able to give you thoughts.

Thanks Kermit! A friend has a Beneteau 351 and the 16,000 BTU cools his boat pretty well so I think I'm good with that. I just have problems with putting holes in my boat!

I have a 16k unit on a 36’ in southern Virginia. Plenty of AC.
