Ablative Bottom Paint Chips

I have some chipping of the bottom paint just at the water line. My Catalina 27 is on a mooring in the Hudson. Question: Can this wait until I haul out in the fall or do I need to do a quick spot paint by hauling it now?

It's not going to damage the boat any, but barnacle growth might affect your speed. If you don't mind, don't worry about it. LaDonna
