Occasionally I cruise the different yacht brokers web sites just to see what's for sale at what prices. One of the ones I look at is Anchorage Brokers in Sausalito, CA. I now see that the owners have been arrested for embezzlement. They are accused of using the funds from sale of boats for their own personal use. Of course, people are innocent until proven guilty, but still...

This brokerage has been around for years. It seems to me that in this economic crisis, more business owners are turning to this sort of thing in an attempt to stay afloat. And if you know anybody with a boat there, or considering buying a boat from them, give them a warning.
