A watch for standing watch

Thanks all. The ships clock with bell is great for the off watch. Seven bells! Hurrah 30 minutes more to sleep. Egg timer I've used. Simple, fool proof. I really would like something to sound off every "x" minutes without any reset. I have radar and ais that I set alarms on but I want the tired watch officer to scan the horizon on a regular basis.

You need a ships bell - besides the ringing part it is really cool to have.

Having the bell ring every five minutes would be REALLY annoying. It is bad enough on a Navy vessel having it ring every half-hour (during the workday that is...it doesn't ring after taps). If you think THAT's annoying, try listening to the Bos'n's pipe over the intercom. The dinner (that's lunch to all you land-lubbers) "song" on a Bos'n's pipe is a real ear splitter. Give me British drums instead.
