Thanks for the heads up Ross.
Have your tried the SkEye app for Android? It is really a mind blowing app. I am an avid astronomer and this app blows me away. I played with it for hours the other night in the Tehachapi mountains. The sky was incredible. The milky way came up about 1:30am.
This app highlights objects in the sky while you hold it over head. As you tilt the phone the screen accommodates.
I understand you can mount and align it on your binoculars or telescope and locate objects.
Really cool.
Hi Caguy,
That would make Celestial Navigation easier. We just got the clocks on the boat adjusted to the right time and now the leap-second will muddle the mix. I'm still trying to turn off the high temperature alarm on the radio clock we have near the aft bunk. Thanks Ross.
