A use for old sails

I just gave our old sails to a painter friend.
He can't use them on a roof because they are slippery, but indoors or over landscaping, they should work fine.

Just another idea.

I like to use my old sails as an experimental first design for awnings, wind scoops and covers, etc. Easy to work with and holds up long enough to work out any kinks in the design.
