civil lawsuits

I could be wrong, but I think I read that their are civil lawsuits pending against the deputy which if decided properly and appropriately sentenced, could help offset Dinius' court fees in his manslaughter defense.

Re: David Walsh

Wow...what a difference state to state...CA blames the guy at the helm of the sailboat for getting run over on a moonless night. MA charges a power boater who runs over a sailboat in broad daylight in perfect conditions, but still only makes it a misdemeanor? I bet if I backed over the paperboy because I didn't check my rear view mirror I'd get more than a $3000 fine and 30 months max.

Oh, and he loses his license for 10 years mandatory. Oh well, if he can afford a 63 foot 1993 Searay he can always sell it to hire a drive...just in case he doesn't have one already of course.

Wow...I found another fun article when I was trying to figure out what my sentence in MA would be for negligent homicide. Cop killed a kid on a bike driving a dump truck without a proper license...and got two months...and wanted out after two days. I am genuinely ill now.
