A Perfect Day

I had a perfect cruising day. Took pictures. I went below with my shoulders still warm from sun that still had heat at sunset and turned on the computer to write about it.

I clicked the news first.....

In no way intending to diminish the horror of this event or the anguish of the parents, but consider how incredibly rare this is in our country, and how often it and worse occurs in other parts of the world.

Jimm, your post is EXACTLY why I wished they had a "Like" button in this forum. Thank you for being positive! It is a sad day and as you say fortunately rare. My heart goes out to them.

There's a "like" button. That small set of scales at the bottom of the avatar box, between the on-or-offline indicator and the exclamation point.
