Hi Mark, you have a very attractive 25 O'Day, thanks for the post. In looking at your pics I noticed what looked to be your traveler mounted above the cabin. Is this actually the case, and could you post some pics of the installation? Thanks.

Thanks George! When I get some more time I will write a post on my trip to retrieve from California last year, and the work I did on it over the winter (which included running electrical in some fairly chilly conditions!).
Actually no, my traveller is in the normal position, in the cockpit just beyond the cabin hatch. What is up on that rail is a winch for the main halyard, as well as cleats for the halyards and vang. That's it. I have though, been seriously considering moving the traveller up to that rail, though as a relative newbie, am uncertain of the effect that would have on the boom/sheeting, whether moving it that far forward would make it difficult to sheet in in heavier winds??!! I hate the current position of the traveller. Many mornings I emerged groggy, from the cabin and tripped on it! (I guess I could cut down on the beers the night before too!)
