A lovely new bottom

Finally got one good weather day in Bayfield which allowed the completion of Emmanuel's bottom painting and even got the hull buffed out. She looks awesome!

Mmm, long story there but at this point I am not as inclined to let her go easily. I hope that Emmanuel will remain mine for a long time to come but life is just full of surprises sometimes isn't it?

OMG-the openings you guys left me but I am restraining myself. However, I do have one photo that I thought I'd post. When not sailing I belly dance and this is my newest costume. Not good for sailing but I'm okay with that.

Supposed to be splashing on Monday and I plan on being there. Way to cold to sail yet but so excited that at least Emmanuel will be in the water that I may break out into a celebratory shimmy or something.
