Sorry, Power Boat sailor here but my question is generic.
I have similar question about sizing a replacement S/W Pump.
I have 2 off "Cruisair" Units on my boat 1 @ 12k BTU and 1 @ 7K BTU
so 19k BTU in total supplied by one seawater pump. My existing "Little Giant"
seawater pump just gave up after 29 yrs of service so can't complain.
The makers label on it is obliterated so can't see the GPH capacity of it.
Replacement "Little Giant pump" is very long delivery time so have ordered
another pump with 500GPH capacity which supposed to arrive today.
From a couple of earlier similar comments I blv it is but need to be sure.
The lift from pump to A.C. units is about 12-15" no tight bends involved.
Any comments appct'd.

Strange. My Little Giant heat pump sea water pump failed this past Friday night after 28 years of service. It is a 3-MD-SC Series Magnetic Drive Pump | Little Giant. It supplies a 16,000 and 8,000 btu heat pumps. I came here looking for a discussion on how to fix it or replace it and found nothing but your post. But Hunter put hundreds of these on their big boats. All I found is your post, with no replies!
