The following are the locations where the equipment that you mentioned is mounted on my 1998 Hunter 310.1) MarineAir 12K unit mounted underneath sink - return air through 2 6" grills with foam filters mounted in each of the doors below sink. 3" duct to aft cabin behind stove. 3" duct to grill on foward side of ac/dc outlet box underneath of forward starboard hanging locker directed into salon. 2" duct to aft starboard wall of v-berth.2) Cold Machine compressor under middle starboard settee. 6" grill with foam filter in center of compartment.3) Haven't had this problem yet but would look for a leak in the exhaust hose, especially around the clamps after the shutoff valve.4) Jenson AM/FM/CD 4 speaker unit mounted in cabinet bolted to aft side of the port bulkhead seperating the salon and v-berth. Mounted it there so remote control would work from either the cockpit, galley, or salon. Mounted 6" speakers in the arch access holes. Fished the starboard speaker wire (18 gauge) thru arch to port side and both down thru the port arch support into the aft cabin wall. Then ran the speaker wires and 12V power wire from the stereo c/b panel along port side. Mounted 2 speakers to port and starboard sides of forward bulkhead of salon. Mounted 2 speakers on the starboard side of forward and aft bulkheads of aft cabin. Ran the speaker wire along starboard side to v-berth where wire went into a 1/2" flexible conduit that extends along top of the v-berth side of the forward bulkhead. All the speaker wire and outputs from all the onboard A/V equipment runs into a switch box with 10 DPDT center off switches that control the routing of the output of the stereo, VHF, TV, SSB, or computer to appropriate speaker set.You are going to find that you also need to run several circuits for DC power outlets. I currently have wired in 6 and expect to add at least that many more to support the additional instrumentation that I am planning. You will also find the the original Type 24 house battery will be insufficient to power the refrigeration. I currently am using a house battery system consisting of 3 Type 27 batteries. I also upgraded the starting battery to a Type 27. I have measured my electrical energy usage and can get by charging with the engine for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening. I hope to add solar panels in the near future to alleviate one of both of these. Good Luck with the 310
