A/C on S2 9.2a

I am buying a 1981 S2 9.2a
after this summers heat the new boat will have air conditioning
if anybody has any advice on btu's , compressor location , ductwork
and good price

first off is it a 9.2 a or a 9.2c....i have never seen a 9.2 m.....

as for the A/C unit i have a 9.2a and am using a 16,000 BTU unit only because i got it on a good deal...it is a Ocean Breeze made in Stuart Fl ...i would think that a 12,000 BTU would do a great job......the unit is not reverse cycle but has a heating element in it for heat..... there is another brand made in Stuart Fl that is almost identical to this brand...it is called a Flagship marine ....there is another post on this site working right now that you can read and check out ...i think the thread is call air conditioning guide lines.....that may help you make an informed decision.....
