They were flying nicely then OooPPPsy!

I’d give them a solid 10 on the dismount!!!

I started messing around with a foil on my windsurfer this year so have a little feel for how much room there is for error compared to “normal”. The margin in foiling i think is pretty small as I took a couple of nasties that in “normal” mode I would have just shrugged off and kept going. Maybe that’s just learning curve but the sensation of flight lulls you a bit so maybe reaction time is affected.

Stubbed our toe on a Cal-Cat and pitchpoled....ended up with a wicked shroud burn...

Been there...done that on my Hobie 16.
Nothing like pretending your a tether ball on a trapeze wire to get the heart rate up.

I’m not sure if the driver was hooked in or just held on to the tiller extension too long!

Nope both hooked in! Helmets on sailboats who would have thought that would be necessary?

Nothing has made me wish I was 30 years younger than the idea that I might sail a foiling boat!

Lots of info but no price, wonder if they would trade even for our 216 ;)

Pretty high tech (even the shrouds are carbon) although it’s a hint that things that were considered one-offs just a short time ago are now being considered “production”.
