Any Suggestions? Motor starts and run great but only under full choke. I'm schooled on Elect. FI and Diesels but updraft carbs are somthiiing I never worked on.

Clean out the emulsion tube in the carb....

Its a long tube with a closed end and several tiny holes on the side of the tube. If they block with crud the mixture goes ALL wrong. If dirt, put on a better fuel filter, especially one that has an added starch to absorb water.

Dirt in the fuel line just blowed it away

I have many hours in Atomic 4 motors and one thing is sometimes overlooked. You must clean the fire arrestor remove the bell and take the brass slotted gizmo (arrestor) off and spray it with carb cleaner until it is clean and shiney. The crank case vent feeding into the carb is not the best thing but it does work. This will make a big diffrence in air flow. The other post about cleaning the carb is a must also, learn this carb never mess with the floats when you remove them be very gentil with the float treat it like a rose its that tender easy does it like a new born baby. Clean all the orifices ckeck them twice a spare bowl gasket from (MOYER) just in case you would break the old one is a good idea. My gasket is five years old and I am still runing it but I guess its time to get a new one save the old one and move on. This summer makes about the eighth time I have had the carb down for cleaning in two years. Gas is dirty stuff. If you have a late model engine the carb has no fuel ajustment only air unless you buy one from (MOYER) good thing the screw on the back of your carb is the air screw in for rich out for lean. Good luck keep it running its one of the best motors ever built.
