I am looking for advice please. I have a 450 that weeps water when it rains from the hole where the wires go thru the deck into the arch. I started by removing and putting down fresh caulk around the exterior. We spent about 6 hours cleaning it up. I now think I should remove the arch and just re bed it.

After removing nuts and bolts, what are people doing to break the bond and free the arch? Trying to not damage the gelcoat.
Thanks!

You may be in for a problem as my arch was installed with 5200 back in '98 when it was delivered from Fla. Yours may be as well. The yard doesn't expect it to ever be removed.

Can you provide a picture showing teh route of the wiring ? I would think all wiring would go through the contact face which attaches the arch to the deck.

Was not able to get any pics but looked from the inside and saw some ‘light’. I think it’s possible there was some voids in layup. Took the new caulk out and found a ‘hole’. I think maybe water was getting and then weeping in. Picture of void included.
I filled it with epoxy. Need to get back and see if that fixed it.
