91 C-28 vs 87 to 89 C-30 Which to buy?

I am a former owner of an 86 C-30. I want to get back into sailing after an almost 10 year absence after having moved to Seattle and then back to So. Calif. The C-28 seems to be the right size for my wife and I but I wonder if we will be disappointed in the way it sails compared to ourprevious C-30. Our budget will allow for an early 90s C-28 model or an 87 to 89 C-30 MK II. We are strictly coastal sailors mostly limiting our sailing to one daycruises off the So. Calif. coast.Any help with this dilemma will be much appreciated.Jay G.goldmill@sbcglobal.net

Smaller newer vs. Older bigger

Hi Jay -There is more to waterline and logic. Spend some time on both boats and decide which one feels right. There are lots of factors to consider, but in the end it's emotional.Have fun shopping!Trevor
