I am curious to find out who has a bimini on their 9.2C. How/where is it attached, what are the dimensions and do you have pictures? I'm trying to determine how practical it is to have one.

I am curious about this also.

Seems to me you need to be careful of the mainsheet getting fouled on the bimini? the trailing edge of the bimini probably needs to be forward, or even with the wheel?

I put one on last year. It's legs are mounted to the top of the cockpit coamings. About 70ish inches wide and five feet front to back. I had to move the mainsheet from straight up to the boom to the very end of it. I had two attachment points. I might get around to making rear legs for it someday. The rear straps are annoying. The front straps for now just connect to the dodger's mounts. I have about 4 inches of room bet bimin and dodger and usually leave front starboard strap unhooked so I can get in and out! I also may make a connector piece to zip to the dodger to eliminate the front straps. It's a pita but we need it badly.

I'm ordering a bimini for our 9.2A from here:

We have a dodger now, but we are removing that and going with a bimini which extends from over the hatch to just forward of the wheel. We can't go aft of the wheel due to the traveler.

You can get stainless steel upgrade to the aluminum parts.

After surveying the cockpit and doger further, we've decided to extend the dodger.

This site

has all the parts to build your own bow and we are looking for a local canvas shop to make the bimini attachment to the dodger.
