brand new rod rigging for my 9.1 (std rig) I've bottomed out on the upper shrouds (turnbuckles) and still can;t get above 15% tension on my loose gauge. could the rigging co. have screwed up with the length? does anyone have some approx. tension numbers?
also, any rigging diagram would be helpful. Even though i can work through the deck layout with what I have, it would be nice to see what others are doing.....hull #20

regards,

Mike C.

sorry i can't help you Mike...but if you have bottomed out on the turnbuckles i would call the rigging company and talk to them what the problem is ...they should be able to advise you or fix your problem

just a follow up....the rod was cut 2 1/2 inches too long. Rigging company (Hathaway Reiser, Raymond in Stamford Ct.) were wonderful. They came to ME, recut the rod to correct size, norseman press on the boat and reinstalled for me...then they tuned the rig as well :) no cost (cept a few beers after they were done ;-)
