8Hp Mariner Outboard Generator

I have a Mariner 93' 8hp outboard... does anyone know if there is a generator on these models?

most do

Most do.. Likely low wattage but enough to handle running lights as they normally are set up to run basic nav marker lights on a small open boat. Look for plug in jacks under the hood, check with volt meter when running, likely 14.5 volt output at meduim rpm

Generator?

You can add a generator to the 8HP Mariner if the one you have doesn't have one. I added it to mine from a kit the dealer supplied me since they forgot to order my outboard with the generator. If you are handy it is an easy installation, but you do have to remove the flywheel.Bob GravenstineS/V Gravyboat
