89 Hunter 30G water in bow locker

I own a 1989 Hunter 30 G. When I bought the boat it had musty water in the forward-most bow locker. No problem, I soaked it up? Then it came back, so I soaked it up again and spent time with my wife hosing down the deck while I searched the area for leaks. I assume you have guessed that I couldn't find the leak. Any ideas?

Water in bow locker

I assume your problem is that water is in the locker next to the water tank.I had this problem with my 30G and it turned out to be coming from the drain in the anchor locker.The drain hole is about 1 in long and on my boat it had a crack midway between the locker liner and the hull.This allows water to seep into the hull and shows up in the floor of the locker.I fixed it by glassing a fitting into the hole to act as a sleeve in the drain passage and it cured the problem.Good luckgd
