Hi Scott - Have you sighted the mast fore and aft when the swell hits your boat to see if there is movement? My first thought is that perhaps the forestay &/or backstay needs to be tightened. This may solve the creaking mast problem. Check the partners where the mast enters the cabintop (keel stepped?); perhaps the mast needs to be wedged better. Take a close look at the mast, partners, and stays when you hear the creaking to determine the source. Let us know what you find out. Best, Trevor
