I've owned an 86 Capri since 2002, sailed a lot the first 5 years or so but she's spent most of her time at the dock in recent years as kids, job, life in general has prevented me from getting out much. I'm in the process of trying to get some more time on the water, but there's quite a bit of deferred maintenance between me and the next trip. I'm hoping to gather info here on how to do the work I'm not familiar with yet, and I'll try to share whatever I learn along the way. I'm hoping to avoid learning too many of those lessons the hard way.
Oh, and I'm in the Patuxent River / Solomons, MD area, if anyone else here is local to Maryland.
