'84 H25.5 Question

In the V Birth where the seat over the portapotti folds down there is a little peg held in with a screw on the edge of the seat. There is an identical one on the opening under the hand sink. Does this hold some sort of an extension with cushion for the V birth sleeping area? I don't have a picture, so I drew it from memory. See attached

I had my 84 H25.5 for about 5 years. I am very familiar with it - but I am not sure what you are referring to. If you have a photo it would help.

So now I see the PDF file. This fixture is to hold the seat in open position. There should be a latch also when in the vertical position. It is made so that you can sit on it and put your clothes on.

Yes, I understand the seat and why it is there, but what are the pegs for and why one on the other side of the boat under the sink on the lip of the sliding doors as in my drawings.

I agree, these are not on my '84, 25.5? Most likely an addition from the previous owner?
