83 Hunter 22' Mast Top Bracket??? What was it

Okay hello
I have just purchased a 22' Hunter and can not seem to find WHAT this is part of it is a channel type piece of s.s. and well, I have not an idea.

Firstly,
I have NO IDEA what was mounted on your mast head (channel pc) .

Secondly,
You should have a stern light somewhere aft with 120 degree visibility. My stern light and swim ladder are mounted on the port side of the stern.

A small white light is what I have on my transom.
Top of my mast has a wind arrow on top.

That channel thing on the mast looks like where a VHF antenna might have been mounted?? Or a fixture for mounting an anchor light.
