I need help I have no water coming from galley facet. I changed the filter, put water in the tank, checked facet, the head facet has full pressure-am I missing a shut off somewhere between the filter and sink? I have this beauty for two weeks and learn new stuff every day.

Congratulations on your new O'Day 34 sailboat!! Do you have fresh water ro your head sink? If so, line would appear clear. There should not be a shutoff valve between the filter and sink. I assume you have 2 tanks as described in your manual. If so, check the selector valve line up. Maybe air in the line and you need to keep the galley sink faucet open a little longer to clear the air?

Assume it is a quarter turn valve. See what position works......usually pointing parallel to the flo path (but you know that). Hopefully that was the solution. Please let us know.

Thanks for all replies-I did clean the screen and actually took apart the facet-It is probably an air pocket or I haven't gotten the correct position on the water distribution-it had never occurred to me that the valve helped distributed the weight on board for sailing. I guess this 82 model is a high performance racing model-I am in love!

On my boat, the tank selector switch is under the forward part of the port settee.

I just had not moved the facet correctly. but I also dissembled the entire facet and was on the verge pulling the intake hoses to bleed the line-live and learn and now I am moving onto doing some bow repair.Embarrassing I also did not realize that the filter was under a plastic bend on the port setee that could be lifted out so I stood on my head changing the filter thinking that it was clogged. I have better pressure and hotter water than my house.
