This is my second season with the boat and the first time the mast will be removed for winter storage. I am interested in knowing where the connections for the the mast wiring is located. I am assuming that when the mast is being pulled, the connections will be tucked into the mast at the deck level, where I can unplug them. Am I correct at this assumption? Is there anything else I should be checking out at this point? Thanks, Scott

I had the same boat

We used to step and un-step the mast ourselves at the yacht club. The wiring in the mast consisted of one connector for the lights, one connector for the wind instrument, and one coax connector for the antenna. We would lift the mast a few inches off the deck, unplug the connectors, and finish lowering the mast onto the wooden stands made for the top of the boat. You should cover the mast-shoe area on the deck to prevent moisture from getting in topside. I would do that even if you cover your boat. Don't forget to also cover the open end at the bottom of the mast to keep out the birds. They love to build nests inside.
