This is not a DC ground and you are done type of operation. DC, AC, power sources on-board and shore power, galvanic, lightning and radio grounds ALL MUST BE INCLUDED in the solution or you will have problems.

I"m with MainSail on this one, DC leaking (probably from the bilge wiring, switch, motor) and zooming up the erosion of the zincs.

It is about an hour long, but has some very good information about bonding, stray current and safety. It also has some suggestions for fairly inexpensive test equipment to assess your boat, neighbors boats, and dock power for stray current.
