I haven't seen anyone else post on it so I will post on it. Jim passed yesterday. I was told that he was at his residence. I am not sure about what they are doing at this point.

There have been a lot of nice posts on his facebook page. I think that there are a lot of people feeling the grief of his passing.

Here is the recent post from Joan:
"The love of my life slipped away peacefully in his own home yesterday. Jim provided 28 plus 2 of the best years of my life. We will be holding a "Celebration" of his life sometime in the near future and you can count on a little rum being involved. Please know that I appreciate all your prayers, candles, just good thoughts. When we have a date I'll provide it so that we can all PARTY!"

That should solve the shortage of Angels in Heaven. Watch over us, Jim, and give us a fair wind once in a while.

I'm sad to read this news. I first met Jim at the Hunter Owners Rendezvous in Solomons in 2007. Helen and I crewed for him and Joan during the race then. He is missed.
