In one of her previous lives, Orion was owned by a live aboard. I have no details of that chapter other than a sorry excuse for galley cabinets. Evidently, a microwave was important, and the re-design centered on that feature. Besides using low grade plywood and taking up 1/3 of the space for the MW, the balance of the layout leaves me scratching my head.I'm referring to the cabinets behind the stove and icebox above the countertop. Since I have never seen the original layout, I cannot comment on it's efficiency. However, I would like to see an original layout of a 1978 H30 if anyone out there has a photo or photos. And I would like feedback on whether it makes sense to re-create the original. Or, perhaps I should step into the abyss and do something new without historical constraints.
